Within 35 years, according to some projections, Spanish will be the most spoken language on the planet...Will it become the universal language? That is another story. It has been assured this week by Humberto Lopez Morales, secretary of the Association of Spanish Language Academies. During the presentation of the Dictionary of Americanisms in San José, Costa Rica, the official noted that the latest projections say so, and that that fact will take place five years earlier than previous predictions.
Next Friday Multivision channel will premiere The Saga. Family Business, Colombian soap opera produced in 2005 by the Caracol Channel. The Saga tells the story of Manrique family from 1935 to 2005, their ambitions and tragedies.
The National Arts Council exhibits at the Centre for Development of Visual Arts its collection of Cuban art, comprising works of the most renowned exponents of the historical avant-garde and contemporary art creation in the island.
In the documentary "In the wrong body", Cuban filmmaker Marilyn Solaya brings us closer to a subject that, although it has had certain treatment lately in the media, remains unknown for us.
